While most people are dreaming of a white Christmas, I have been dreaming about expanding my online offerings to Shopify. That dream began about a year ago. This blog is about that dream and my progress on getting the new site launched.
Today, Art from the Hartt went live on Shopify!!!
Winter is my time to work on my online sites, so I started the journey almost two weeks ago. Today, we went live! I knew it would take several days to import the inventory. I also had to tweak the listings.
The reason for adding Shopify is that it integrates with Facebook and Instagram. And, I can do more to build my unique brand of art. The new shop is an addition, not a replacement for Etsy.
I’m curious on feedback from customers if you prefer brick-and-mortar shopping vs Etsy or Shopify? Or other online shop platforms? Is it easier to find the perfect gift from your living room or in the aura of a shop downtown? Or do you prefer big box outlets (either online or brick-and-mortar)?
