Hi folks,
Art from the Hartt is moving to a new vendor booth at Country Flair on April Fools’ Day. No fooling! I feel inspired to transform the space. It will shine a new light on my locally made arts and crafts.
The main space will focus on my handcrafted pots, clocks, earrings, tiles, and home decor. I will also add a plant cart to highlight my “Midwife’s Nursery” locally grown live plants. I can’t wait to see how it all turns out! The booth (pictured below) is where my new space will be located. Of course, the space will have a different energy once it is filled with local art. (PS – I love the current vendor’s energy, too.)

The booth is conveniently located across from the stairs that lead to the second floor. Please refer to the map below for directions.

The booth will bring old favorites. I also would love suggestions for new handmade products to feature in the space. Please leave a comment with your suggestions!

Why the move? I will be honest, the first months of 2025 have been slow. The business itself is of the age (founded 2021) that it needs to meet goals to stay sustainable. I don’t believe that the current economy will support the growth required, so I made the difficult decision to downsize.
Now that the space is a reality, I am getting excited for the future. I think having the plants on a cart is better. This will benefit both art and plants by keeping them somewhat separate. I believe this location is also more visible than my current space in the cul-de-sac.

I will still be selling plants and larger pots. These will be available at “yard sale” events at my home office. This will happen during the warm months. So, stay tuned for more information in the next couple of months. You can subscribe to this blog in the box below.
Sometimes, the best answer is to simplify. I’ll also be simplifying monthly sales. I am considering new options, like a % off for purchasing more than a certain amount from my booth. I would love your feedback on what kinds of sales you would like to see at the new space!

I will also be putting more time and effort into my Etsy shop. I plan to further develop and market my Shopify and GoImagine shops during the next few months, as well.
Come by and check it out next time you are in downtown Montrose, CO!
