Hi there,

May crept up fast. The daylilies are pushing up out front, the agave pups need potting, and the gnomes down at Country Flair have apparently decided to take up gardening. Stop by Vendor 80 this month and you’ll find them tending their tiny plots — complete with miniature tools and a vegetable or two. I change their scene every month and June they’ll be packing for a road trip, so catch them while they’re still in the garden.

Daylilies are getting big!

Speaking of getting outside — I’m starting something new this summer that I’m pretty excited about. Starting May 15th I’ll be doing porch pop-ups at my place here in Montrose, twice a month through September. It’ll be a relaxed come-and-go sale with handcrafted gnomes, planters, and some live succulent and agave pups that are looking for good homes. More of a neighborly Saturday morning than a big production. I’ll send details before each one so you know when to swing by.

That porch is ready for her pop-up sale!

The quarterly drawing is still going at the booth — your choice of a handcrafted VW Bug planter, drawing in June. The jar is on the second shelf if you haven’t dropped your name in yet.

Over on Etsy this month gnomes and planters are 20% off — road trip planters, mesa stone planters, and the gnomes. I also have a small number of live plant starts listed if you prefer to shop from the couch.

Thanks for following along. It means a lot for a retired midwife casting stone in her garage in Montrose.

Warmly, Cathy
